What is accessible holiday accommodation?

It’s really important to Beach to Beyond that we give everyone the opportunity to experience a magical getaway.

We listen carefully and make plans with you to make sure it fits perfectly.

It’s when we take this time that we see the magic of your perfect respite come to life, we see your disability as a way to learn, develop and implement your respite escape to allow you to have the most magical experience.

When we plan with you we take in to account:

Accommodation – stairs, bathrooms etc
Travel – height of vehicle and accessibility
Mobility requirements – Aids – walking etc
Fear of heights – high rise accommodation
Outdoors – ground, shade etc

Types of Accommodation

Campervans and caravans are specially designed to assist you with travel, sleeping and general rest. They are wheelchair accessible and this in mind give all participants ease to move around freely, able bodied or otherwise.

Flights, we can assist with making sure the right times, seats and meals are available to you.

Jeff and Joey have the expertise to get you to where you want to go and for you to have the break you desire.

With more options available to PWD to access respite your choices are ever growing.

Our profoundly Deaf son and family accessed many programs organised by Jeff including camps and recreational programs. Building his confidence amongst his peers, developing life long skills and cherished memories was integral to his and our journey. Jeff facilitated with direction, mentoring and education to give him and us life long friendships, memories and skills to succeed.

Having worked for a number of years with 'Beach to Beyond' I can highly recommend them. The high level of personal regard & proactive investment in providing a better life for those in his care is clearly paramount. I've witnessed their expertise to know when to hold space & still remain connected. 'Beach to Beyond' takes caring to another level.
